changing business visa to residence permit for Indian nationals

Hello Sir/madam ,
I had worked in China for 10 years earlier.Past two years i have been working in my home country India.I need to clarify a doubt.Now i have an opportunity to work in Shenzhen.Is it possible to change business M for Indian nationals to residence permit for work with the help of relevant documents in China? This happened actually 1 year ago.Still that rule is there?please advise
