changing business visa to residence permit for indian nationals

Hello Sir/madam ,   I had worked in China for 10 years earlier.Past two years i have been working in my home country India.I need to clarify a doubt.Now i have an opportunity to work in Shenzhen.Is it possible to change business M for Indian nationals to residence permit for work with the help of relevant documents in China? This happened actually 1 year ago.Still that rule is there?please advise

Alan, if you have valid Chinese business M type, it's possible for you to change it into a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB after entering mainland China. If it can succeed, you can apply for a Chinese residence permit to work and live in China. You can have a try.
