Will I get promoted at work?

I was born 10 0ctober 1976 at approx 7pm Box Hill Victoria Australia. I’ve had a roller coaster experience in my job as a coordinator and feel that there is favouritism going on at work which I’m not part of and therefore there are staff not wanting me to progress. I’ve been very disappointed as it’s not in my nature to suck up management to get ahead of myself. I also manage a small team who I feel some are backstabbing when all I’ve done is looked after them. What advise can you give me? Evelyn.
