Good day, I'm South African and about to embark on a holiday to Moldova and then Vietnam. I am still unsure about future plans, but I may have to apply for a Chinese entry permit in the near future. Would it be possible to obtain a Chinese entry permit in either of the above mentioned countries?

Based on what I know, it's possible for you to apply for it from the China embassy in Vietnam. You can have a try.
