About:China Transit Visa

transit visa G , 1 stop in pek

I am planning to fly with air china CA from ROME to Vietnam via BEIJING . I am vietnamese citizen . and transit in BEIJING 6 hours , in case I want to entry to BEIJING City , should i do the visa transit on arrival BEIJING ? and how much fee ?
In case I dont entry the BEIJING CITY , i dont need to do entry permit. is it correct ?

You can apply for the 24 hr direct transit in Beijing, and you can leave the airport to explore the city. No visa is needed. Nice trip.

It means my passport is Vietnam . I can apply this 24h direct transit in Beijing . is it right ? thanks so much
