Dujiangyan panda base

Can you please tell me a little about Dujiangyan panda base. How far away from chengdu and how many pandas are there?

According to what I know, it is about 70 kms (43 miles) from Chengdu to Dujiangyan Panda Base, and it costs you about 1.5 hours if you get there by car. Besides, there are usually around 30-40 pandas at the base.
