Wearing shorts and tank tops in Guangzhou?

I am travelling to Zhanjiang. Could I ask if wearing tank tops and shorts at 34 degrees is respectable please? Thanks

I’m afraid you cannot only take the tank tops and shorts with you, because it will be rainy season in Zhanjiang City and may rain lasting over one month according to the current weather forecast.
