About:China Transit Visa

Transit via train

Hi I was wondering if the 72hour free transit was applicable for me if I catch the train from Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) to Bejing to catch a flight from there? How would I go about applying for this visa and is it possible? Would I be able to jump on the train and get transport to the airport straight away without any hassle.

Emilia, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit facility because you will take the train to Bejing, but the 72 hour policy is only applicable to flight travelers.
