HK to Hainan - VOA documents?

Hi,

We are UK citizens, flying into Sanya from HK. Have not booked through a Hainan tour operator as all was booked before the new rules came into place. What documents do you need to have with you for the Hainan VOA?

Thanks.

Elizabeth, if you won't be received by a travel agency of Hainan, I'm afraid you cannot apply for the 30-day Hainan visa-free policy.

Hi Hancock, yes agreed that we do not qualify for the free transit policy but believe we could still get a landing voa. Was wondering what you needed for the normal landing visa? Above it states the process for shen-zen, was hoping for some more information like that for Hainan.

There’s no “normal landing visa”. You need a visa in advance.
