i live in Michigan and want to know if I can get the medical check report here for the china working visa? IF I can get it done here, is there a certain hospital/doctors office I need to go to? or can I use my primary doctor??

Hi, as I know, you should do that from the state-own public hospital designated by the embassy of China. You can call the embassy to check which one you should go.
