I think you should take a taxi to get to your destinations, which is the fastest way but much  expensive than by bus.From airport to Forbidden City, it takes around CNY250 and 1- 1.5hours to get there by taxi. Take Badaling Great Wall as an example, the cab fare is around CNY100 and the duration is 1- 1.5hours to get there.
