UK to Beijing indirect through Dubai

Staying in Beijing for 3 days then cruising out of Tianjin to Okinawa and Taiwan last stop on cruise is Singapore then fly back to UK from Singapore does 144 hour visa free stay apply to my stay in Beijing only one stop in China
