Guangzhou East to Macau

Hi, I am visiting Guangzhou in July 2018. I will be staying in the hotel inside GZ East Railway station. I want to visit Macau, what is the best way to get to Macau?. Is there a train from the East Station to the South Railway station ?. I am thinking of taking another trip from Guangzhou South to Zhuhai. Any comment ?. Thanks.
