About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

DIrect Transit within 24 hours

Hi,

May I please have some help with the following:

Scheduled to arrive (from New Zealand) in Guangzhou at 4.45pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Stop over is estimated at 4 hours 50 minutes.
Scheduled to depart Guangzhou at 9.35pm the same Wednesday for Wuhan.
Scheduled to arrive Wuhan (from Guangzhou) at 11.35pm
Stop over is estimated at 1 hour 25 minutes
Scheduled to depart Wuhan 1.10am on the Thursday morning for Rome.

I am a New Zealand citizen passing through two ports in China en-route to Rome. One flight within China between Guangzhou and Wuhan is a domestic flight. Am I covered by the 24 hour transit visa, or do I require another visa?

Hi, Adrienne, you are covered by the 24 hour direct transit, and no need to apply for a visa for the trip.
