About:China Visa

hello, my work will renew my Z visa in June on my current passport which expires january 2019.

I will be going to Canada this summer in August and will be getting a new passport . Can i transfer the entry permit on my new passport ? or do i have to re-apply in Canada ? or can i come with the new passport and just show the z on the old passport? its really confusing as everyone seems to tell me something different

if anyone knows the true answer i would appreciate it.

Hi, based on what I know, you come to mainland China with the new passport and just show the Z on the old passport. You also need to show your Chinese residence permit.
