About:China Visa

I am arriving in China February 2019 for 4 nights then travelling to Taiwan for 5 nights.

Hi there
Do I need a visa for 4 nights in China. We are arriving on Feb 1st for 4 nights. Then to Taiwan for 5 nights. Then to Australia. Not sure if we need to apply for entry permit for China??

Debra, if you will go to a city which has the 144 hour free transit, you may be able to use the free transit, and no need to apply for a visa for that.

If so, you won't qualify for the 144 hr free transit. You need to apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
