Is August a good time to visit Wuyishan?

I read that there is typhoon in the month of August. It is thus safe to visit? I will be traveling from Nanchang by bus or rail to the scenic area.

Well, according to the previous statistics, it may have typhoon in the month of August. This will influence the sightseeing a lot. Thus you are advised to change the travel plan. May and June are recommended sightseeing time.
