hi, i am entering beijing coming from dehli on 08-05-18.

Question

I am flying on 12-05-18 from BJ VIA Guangzhou to Nairobi. The stopover in Guangzhou is 1,5 hours. I fly on 2 different tickets: PEK - CAN and CAN - NBO. Could I get a 144 hour transit visa with this travel route? by the way: The Chinese embassy in Nairobi states that the 144 hour transit visa option has been cancelled and it is only 72 hours today. First, the 72/144h visa free transit policy is not available. If your stay in Beijing and Guangzhou is no more than 24h, you can enjoy the 24h visa free transit. If not, you need to apply for a visa in advance.
