About:China Transit Visa

My transit visa got expired and I couldn’t leave the country what do I do?

I was traveling going to canada passing trought china and I missed my flight to canada they rebook me but my travel entry permit got expired I couldn’t leave what do i do?

It depends on whether you have a pre-arrival visa or an entry permit. Entry permits are not extendable, and once that expires you are relying on the immigration's good grace to let you leave the country without a fine. Visas are technically extendable, but if you have to failed to secure an extension before its expiration you will face the same scenario. In both cases you are likely to be banned from using visa free transit for a period of five years.
