Transit to Shanghai

I am planning my trip to Shanghai and will depart from Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) to Shanghai (via Hong Kong), and the return way would be Shanghai to Hong Kong and then Ho Chi Minh.. is that included in the free transit visa policy?

If you are traveling like Ho Chi Minh-HK-Shanghai-Hong Kong-Ho Chi Minh, you won't qualify for the free transit policy. Try to apply for a visa for that beforehand.
