Train to Harbin

Hello I am planning to go to Harbin in September. Is it worth it to take, or better flying? What does the scenery look like? Which stop shall I take if I want to go to Harbin down town, Harbin or Harbin South? Can we bring large luggage in the train? Is ticket pricing different for children? Thanks.

will you depart from Beijing? The scenery along rail line is usually the some countryside view and small towns. Harbin railway station is the one closer to down town. As for the luggage, you can just take then together with you and arrange them on the luggage racks. The child under 120cm do not need a ticket if sharing a seat or bed with the adult. But each adult can take one child under 120cm for free only. The child under 150cm can buy discount child ticket. There will be a discount 50% off for seats and 25% off for a sleeper bed
