married to a chinese and already have a son, wanna get related visa

I have been in china for over 5 years, staying more than 9 months every year, married for 3 years already and have a son too, holding a working visa but for some reason wanna change to family residence permit but how go do with the proof of secured living status? show a bank statement for a specific amount of money? and what about household? my spouce family household is ok or a rent flat contract is ok .. wondering ... can get it several year residence permit or just to renew every year
