Visa requirements. Do we require a visa

We are flying to Shanghai from Perth on the 22/8/18, staying 2 nights then embark on the Majestic Princess cruise ship disembarking in Sydney.

If your layover time in Beijing is not more than 24 hours, you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit, and no visa is required.
