About:China Student Visa

I will change from a work visa to a student visa.

I am already in china. Can I change entry permit from within China or do I need to leave and come back

It's possible for you to do the change at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don't need to leave China. You can give it a try.
