Still confused need help, if i get a 72 hours transit can i go out to is house and am i eligible?

Hi! Im Going to Japan and im from Canada, i have to transit in Beijing and i have a layover of 19 hours, a friend of the family propose me to stay at is place in Beijing. Im still cojfuse with the info thanks

Hi, you qualify for the 24 hr direct transit in Beijing, and you can go out to the house. But you need to go to the local police station to register after you exit the airport.
