I heard that you can find several farmhouses nearby the entrance. Chengde Jinshan Hotel is recommended. You can choose one when you arriving there. Hope helpful!

I actually got a number of a farmerhouse from MR. Duan now. Ricky - a really recommended tour guide gave it to me. Write him if you need help. Camping is just done illegaly like i read.
