can we go into the pits at the terracotta warriors

Can we go into the pits at the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an? We definitely want to go up close to the warriors and not just walk around the perimeter.

As far as I know, all the visitors are not allowed to go into the pits at  Terracotta Warriors and Horses. But you can take photos at spot Pit 1 which is closer to the warriors.
