Can I take my host gifts of chocolates, jams, honey, biscuits and local beer?

chocolates, jams, honey and biscuits are allowed to bring into the country.
But for drinks less than 12%, there is no strict limit of the amount. It would be ok to bring some. They must be taken in check-in luggage.
