About:China Travel Tips

I hope to bring back to China a medium size ceramic table lamp in my hand luggage

Am I allowed this on board also to bring through customs?

Well, I'm afraid that you need to put it into the checked luggage. In addition, you don't need to declare it at the custom generally speaking.
