Attestation on Marriage Certificate

Is it possible to apply residence permit(S1) for my wife by myself or Do I need to contact visa agent in Guangzhou?. When I applied S1 for my wife Chinese embassy they haven't asked attestation on Marriage Certificate but I heard that if we are applying residence permit then we have to get attestation.Kindly confirm if I need to get attestation on marriage certificate with the Chinese embassy in India before my wife travels to China or just an original marriage certificate is enough when applying the Residence Permit for my wife. Please help to share the residence permit application form or the trusted agent contact whom can guide me for help.

Hi, you are supposed to get attestation on marriage certificate with the Chinese embassy in India, then you can use it to apply for Chinese residence permit in mainland China.

Hi, personally I think you need to translate the marriage certificate to Chinese for that. If you can provide the invitation letter to your wife, maybe no documents from your company are needed. You can call the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to confirm this if you are still worried.

I am in the process of applying Residence Permit for my wife and got the marriage certificate attested by Chinese embassy in India. Do I need to translate the marriage certificate to Chinese when applying residence permit for my wife. Any other document needed from my working company to support her permit application?
