About:China Work Visa

need to know-Hello I want to go and teach English in China

is it possible for me to get a job while on a tourist visa?

No you cannot get a job while touring.

Documentation must be in order.

It's possible for you to find a job while on a tourist L type in China. But after that you should try to change the L type into a work Z type at the local PSB within China because you cannot work under a tourist L type.

You can try to find a job under your L tourist type. But it takes a long time to apply for a China work Z. And many documents are required, such as notarized Bachelor degree certificate and notarized No-criminal record certificate.
I am afraid you cannot get the work visa done during your tourist visa valid period.
