Question

May l know how to travel from Guilin to join the River Li Cruise to Yangshuo?  Can we travel on our own or have to join a local tour?  We are planning to stay overnight in Yangshuo, so can we bring our luggages as well for the river Li cruise? How many hours needed to travel from Guilin to Yangshuo using the river Li cruise?  Thank you

I think it is both okay to cruise on Li River by your own or join a local tour.If you suppose to travel by your own, you can book the cruise tickets in advance with your passports. The Li River cruise departs from Zhujiang Wharf. As there is no direct bus from Guilin downtown to the wharf, you are suggested to take a taxi directly at a cost of around CNY80-100. The cruise trip takes around 4 hours and arrives at Yangshuo. It is sure that you can take your luggage during the cruise. 
