About:China Visa

Moroccan citizen with passport would like to live with fiance from US working in China.

I am a US citizen taking a teaching job in china in a month. I do not have a work Z yet, but I will have a tourist L for China soon. My fiance also needs a visa, but he is from Morocco and has a Moroccan Passport. I would like him to live with me in China. A Chinese resident friend agreed to send him an invitation stating I will be cover all of his costs while in China. I need to know what type of visa he will need, and if he can get multi-entry and for how long so we can leave and come back to mainland China. My contract is one year. We would also like to get married in China. I do not know how that changes things for us, if it does at all. Will the embassy accept he has a one way ticket because we do not know the date he will be returning to Morocco yet. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi, your fiance can apply for a tourist L type for mainland China. If he has the invitation letter from China, the round trip air tickets will not be required by the embassy. You don't need to worry about that too much.
