About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour TWOV - UK citizen, british passport

Hello,

I am travelling on a UK passport from Singapore to Beijing, China arrival is 15:10pm on 26th.

I will leave Beijing, China on 29th at 14:10 to fly home to UK. I already have my ticket.

I understand that I will be able to apply for the 72 hour transit visa when I board my plane and arrive in Beijing airport. My hotel are happy to do the necessary in contacting the police etc.

Do I need to do anything before I leave the UK?

Thanks

If you fly Singapore-Beijing-UK non-stop then you don't need a transit visa for 144 hours at Beijing. Print the ticket for your Beijing-UK flight (which must not stop in Singapore or China), and be prepared to show it at check-in/boarding in Singapore and arrival in Beijing.

Ticket 1 is Singapore (Country A) to Beijing, China. (Arrival at 15:30pm) on the thursday.

I will spend just under 72 hours in Beijing China.

Ticket 2 is Beijing, China to United Kingdom (Country B) (leaving China at 14:10pm) on the sunday.

Is it definitely ok for me to use the 72 hour TWOV?

They are under separate tickets also.

please confirm, thanks.

Separate tickets allowed (Bring printout of eticket confirmation)
Singapore > Beijing > UK. Any other stops in China on the way to or from Beijing would not be ok.
