If your travel route will be Hong Kong-China-Hong Kong, then you cannot enjoy the free transit because it's not a transit.

Thank you for your reply! I read something that when you want to visit China from Hongkong this was possible with a travel agent. But can not find any clean story about this.

What would you sugges be my best option? Think we need only 8 hours in China..

Thanks again

If you just want to visit Shenzhen you can get a visa on arrival at one of the designated land or sea border crossings. For visits to other parts of Mainland China, you need a visa prior to arrival.
