About:China Work Visa

Work visa: medical examination and diploma

I wanted to inquire about a couple of things:
- is the medical check required for the invitation letter done within the Chinese embassies in the United States or in a hopital approved by the Embassy ?
- how can the bachelor's degree be approved; by the Chinese embassy itself or is there an China-approved institution that can confirm degree validity ?

- As I know, the medical check is not required for applying for the work Z type from the China embassy. As for the invitation, you can ask your inviter if you need to provide medical check for that.
- To get the bachelor's degree authenticated, you should first get it notarized by the local notary public and the Secretary of State (some states also require that the documents need to be notarized by County Clerk); and then go to the embassy of China to get that attested.

Thanks for answering. The inviter does require a medical check though. So I was wondering if any medical examination from any lincesed doctor would be enough or not.

You should do the medical examination at the designated hospitals. You can contact with the consular general to inquire about that.
