About:China Visa Exemption

Stay 2 days in Shanghai with no direct transit

Hi,
I am US citizen planning to fly to Shanghai from US and stay 2 days (not use a direct transit) after that will continue with another airline fly to Hong Kong.
Do I qualify to get free visa? Thanks

Hi, you are able to enjoy the 144 hr free transit in Shanghai, and no visa is required for that. Nice trip.
