About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Passing PVG 2x and doing visa free entry both times

Good day. I am flying LAX-PVG-MNL and returning 10 days after (MNL-PVG-LAX). In both cases I have a 10 hour layover. Can I go out to Shanghai in both cases without entry permit? Thanks.

Hi, if you can show the hotel booking confirmations in Shanghai at the immigration counter upon arrival, you could leave the airport to visit the city. You can try it.
