About:Year of the Sheep / Goat

What career should I pursue?

I am a 2003 sheep and i have a passion for music. I want to pursue a career in it but my parent's say that it is not a very stable career (which is true). They want me to become a doctor instead. But i really want to become a singer. I know I will forever be regretful if I don't do something that utilizes my talent of singing. What should I do? Should I become a singer or doctor? Also, should i audition for a KPOP entertainment company?

Hey I am a 2004 Sheep and I also have a big passion for music. I believe you should stick with what makes you happy. I am happy that my mom supports me and my music career. Even if it isn't that stable. If you really love it go for it. Hopefully you have the best in any career you choose.

Why not do both? You have to make your own decision on stability versus passion but there is no reason to stop your passion just because you have a stable job- perhaps become a doctor but still learn music. You could use some sort of music therapy.
Perhaps you throw a monthly concert for all the patients.
But becoming a doctor is hard- are you actually in a position to do that or are your parents just pushing you?
There are other stable jobs you could do, withhin or without the medical field.
Why not audition? What do you lose from trying?
