All wholesale market and shopping mall in guangzhou opened or closed during May day?

Excuse me, actually i have a plan to go to the city on 30 april-3May 2018. But I heard about that period is holiday. so i want to ask about wholesale market , shopping mall and all market are opened or closed ?
