how to get from dongguan exhibition centre to hkia?

We got charged ¥600 for our taxi ride from Guangzhou airport to Regal Palace hotel as we did not have a choice due to our heavy luggages.

You can walk southwest for 5 minutes to the city terminal of HKIA in the city and catch a bus to Humen Port, where you can take a ferry to the airport.By the way, the buses leave at 6:50, 8:30, 10:30, 13:00 and 14:30.

We are staying at Regal Palace Hotel here in Dongguan then catching an international flight from HKIA. So do I need to get a taxi to Humen ferry port then there’s a ferry direct tot HKIA? Thanks.

Yes, you got it! But there is one thing, the schedule I mentioned is not available if you are not taking the bus from the city terminal. The ferry you may catch at Humen Port departs at 8:15, 10:15, 12:00, 14:45, and 16:00.
