Do I need to report to the local Chinese police for stay over three months in china?

I am a Canadian citizens. I already have Chinese visa . I am planning to stay in china for three months. Do I still need to report to the local Chinese police?

If you stay in the hotels during the trip in China, and you can ask the hotel staff to do that for you. They are obligated to register on your behalf so there's nothing you need to do if staying in a hotel.
