About:China Transit Visa

Less than 24 hours transit in China

I have Indian passport. I will fly to Kumming, then get immigration cleared, fly domestic in China till Pudong in Shanghai and then fly out of Pudong to New Zealand.

I have residence visa for New Zealand.

My transit is less than 18 hours. Do I need a transit visa?

No, you don't need a transit G type for you qualify for the 24 hr direct transit in mainland China.
