Hong Kong permanent resident with Home Return Permit visiting China from Australia

I am a Hong Kong permanent resident (born there) and have Hong Kong Identity Card, and Home Return Permit issued in 2016. Can I fly from Melbourne (where I live, and have Australian Passport) and enter Beijing without a Chinese VISA?

Hi, if you will go to a third country or region rather than Australia after Beijing, and the layover time in Beijing is less than 6 days, no visa is required then.
