About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour transit Bejing

I will be traveling from Osaka to Bejing staying for 72 hours and then departing to San Francisco on a standby ticket. I am an American Citizen but not sure if I can qualify for the 72 hour transit with standby tickets.

Standby is definitely not allowed for transit without visa. You must have a confirmed onward ticket.
