Can I take silver bars out of Hong Kong?

Hi, im looking to take four 1kg silver bars out of Hong Kong, do I need to declare this, or can I just put it in my hand luggage and carry on as normal. I looked on the custons website but couldnt find out, any relevent links would be appreciated,Thanks

It is allowed to bring them. But you must declare them if the value of then is over CNY5,000. Generally speaking, you are allowed to put them in the checked luggage.
