72 hour visa to visit China Furniture Fair

Hi, i urgently need to do business at China Furniture Fair in Guangzhou but dont have a visa. Can I fly Melbourne to Honk Kong, Hong Kong to Canton (Baiyun Guangzhou) then Canton to Melbourne with 72 hour free transit?

You can, if your Guangzhou to Hong Kong flight is non-stop.
