If see from the distance, Shanghai railway station should be the closer one, however, there are only 3 rides a day from this station. Most of the rides go from Hongqiao Station instead. So the station to use also depends on your schedule too. For Hangzhou Station and East Station, it should not be a big difference to West Lake area.
