Hello, I am traveling to Kunming this weekend and I have decided to see shilin and nearby attractions to the scenic area. I am going to stay at Intercontinental Hotel Kunming. How far is shilin from there and what travel route I must take to get there?What other attractions are there which I can cover within the same day. Many Thanks

You can take a taxi to the East Bus Station to catch a regular bus to Shilin. It takes nearly 2h in total. Besides Shilin, you can also pay a visit to Jiuxiang Scenic Area, and there are many local cars can take you there from Shilin Scenic Area. Enjoy your trip!
