shapingba hotel to chaotianmen dock

Question

My wife and I will be staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel Chongqing Sha Ping Ba in mid-April.We would like to leave my hotel at about 6:30 pm for the Chaotianmen Dock. We want to take a night cruise on the Yangtze and Jialing rivers and then visit Hongyadong.I know I can take Metro 1 to Xiaoshizi and walk to the dock, but I am not sure exactly how to get to the dock from the Metro station. What buses should I take from my hotel to the Metro 1 line in Shapingba?I would also need to get back to my hotel from Hongyadong. Can you help me with the buses I should take?I am not sure how to recognize the correct buses. Do the buses in Hongyadong have numbers or writing in English?Thank you

I don’t think metro line 1 can take you there. You are suggested to take a taxi, which may take 20mins and CNY40 or so.Back to your hotel, there is no direct bus or metro, either. So also need to take a taxi, and it takes less than 25mins, CNY 50.
