Accommodation inside Guangzhou Airport

My husband and I are booked on China Southern flight KUL - CAN on 25 May 2018 arriving at 5.35pm. We need to wait 18 hours for our connecting flight CAN - SFO at 11.45 am on 26 May 2018. I would like to know if there is any transit hotels inside the airport and how I can book a room for the night. If there is none and if I need to book a room away from the airport, do I need to apply for a visa. Please help.
